Wow what can we say, 8 halibut from 40 to 85 lbs in under 2 hours of fishing. The action was fast and furious. Thanks for a great day on the water Mike we will see you same time same place next year.
Bill and Nancy Ellis, Oakland California.
Thanks again Mike, for a great day on the water. Our honeymoon was such a beautiful experience and the fishing we had to finish it made it even more memorable. Look forward to seeing you again,(next time it is with the buddies,Bill).
Darcy and Randy Morgan, 100 Mile House.
We had always wanted to try mooching for salmon and boy where you right. It was the most fun I think we could have legally. You sure know what you are doing and the fight from these fish was unbelievable. Darcy is still talking about the double header 32, 37 lbs that we had. Thanks again Mike for a wonderful time.
The Dunns, New York, New York.
Unbelievable is the only word to describe the days fishing. We have fished in the Queen Charlottes many times but nothing could prepare us for the coho fishing we experienced fishing with you this past October. Our arms where sore for days after and I landed my biggest coho ever 22.5 lbs of chrome silver. Thanks again Mike and hope to see you next year.
Big Bob Johnson.
Daylight at Camper Bay, weather was beautifull and the fishing fantastic. We caught and released 12 springs to 40 lbs in under 4 hours and lost just as many. I have never seen anything like it in all my years fishing, and all on the cutplug to boot. See you next August, keep our spot at Camper reserved.
From The Northwest Preachers.
We prayed for an enjoyable trip and to take home some nice chicken hallys. But a 72 lb hally was icing on the cake that first day. Little did we know what was to happen the next day. A 91 and 140 lb halibut. I can still see the coils of rope vanish as you made the perfect hit on the 140 lb halibut. To hear the 80 lb line snap and see the floats disappear like little corks was surreal. Those where the longest 10 minutes waiting for the floats to reappear 150 yards away, (kinda reminded me of "JAWS"). But what a celebration once we had that monster hog tied and in the boat. Thanks for a great experience Mike and lord willing we'll be aboard the Heavy Hauler again this spring.
