Heavy Hauler Fishing Charters owner/operator Mike Johns has been fishing off the West Coast of Vancouver Island for 20 years.  His love of the ocean and fishing is what makes chartering with Heavy Hauler a most memorable adventure and exciting way to spend a day.

Heavy Hauler Fishing Charters is pleased to provide you with the ultimate fishing experience. Operated out of Port Renfrew BC, which is situated on the southwest tip of Vancouver Island. The halibut and salmon fishing in this area is second to none with some of the most awe inspiring scenery nature has to offer.

The “Hauler” departs from the Port Renfrew Marina early in the morning for a day of exciting fishing off the rugged West Coast of Vancouver Island.

Fishing will be out of a 21 foot welded aluminium vessel built by Northwest Aluminium Craft. The vessel and operator are Transport Canada Certified for a maximum of 4 passengers and the operation is fully insured for offshore fishing.

All tackle, bait, cruiser suits/rain gear are provided as are cleaning and packing of your catch.

Arrangements can be made for accommodations and to ship your catch world wide if desired.
